Notre Dame FCU Meets Needs of Members with Updated Downtown South Bend Branch Hours

NOTRE DAME, IN – Notre Dame Federal Credit Union is expanding the hours of its Downtown South Bend branch. Chief Retail Officer John Wilkening said the change in hours will allow the credit union to better serve its members, “We have a committed team in our Downtown South Bend branch that cares about the community and when we realized that there was an opportunity to serve our area, we knew we needed to step up.”

As I write this note, I am reminded of the great power and opportunity we have as members of a financial cooperative.  
Years ago, the credit union industry was created by average folks who felt that traditional banks were not always looking out for their best interests.  People understood that while banks existed to create profits for their stockholders, credit unions were owned equally by all its members.

Notre Dame FCU to Sponsor SB150 Mass with Bishop Rhoades

Notre Dame, IN - Notre Dame Federal Credit Union (Notre Dame FCU) announced today its sponsorship of an outdoor Catholic Mass led by Bishop Kevin Rhoades in celebration and thanks for South Bend’s 150 years of history. All area residents are invited to attend the Mass, to be held outdoors at Saint Joseph High School at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31. Bleacher seating is available at the Father Bly Field on E. LaSalle Avenue. No ticket is required. Music will be provided by a multi-parish choir led by local music minister Jeremy Hoy.
